Red vein treatment is undertaken using thermolysis. A fine probe is inserted into the capillary and a small electric current applied to cauterise it, removing the red effect.
For larger areas IPL Rejuvenation can be used to heat the capillaries and cauterise them. Refer to Photo Rejuvenation.

Skin tag removal may be undertaken using the insertion of a probe as for red vein, or by cauterising with a high frequency lance.
